Chief Financial Officer
Jon serves as the Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Board of Directors of PFBC-EET. Jon is responsible for coordinating financial statement preparation, reviewing and analyzing financing opportunities and supervising financial regulatory compliance. Jon is also the managing attorney of Krassenstein & Associates Professional Corporation, a Wexford based law firm, having an extensive background in general corporate matters, business and financial institution representation and commercial litigation.
As a former law clerk to two federal bankruptcy judges and as a long time legal practitioner, Jon combines his knowledge of the law with sound practical experience gained as a certified public accountant for Arthur Andersen & Company. Jon is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of Ohio. He is a member of the American, Ohio and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and serves on the Executive Council of the Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is also certified as a federal bankruptcy mediator.
Jon serves on the Board of Directors for the Northern Allegheny County Chamber of Commerce and for Temple Ohav Shalom. He is the Chairman of the Zoning Hearing Board for the Borough of Bradford Woods.
Jon received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio in 1983, received his Juris Doctor Degree from The Ohio University College of Law in 1986 and became a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1987.
In addition to serving as PFBC’s Corporate Treasurer, Bob is a member of the Board of Directors and a shareholder. Bob has been the Secretary/Treasurer, a member of the Board of Directors, a shareholder and Financial Manager for Farnham & Pfile, Inc. since its inception in 1988. During his 20 years as Financial Manager, Bob has developed and overseen all accounting procedures for all Farnham & Pfile companies and subsidiaries, including payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, job cost, and general ledger. Bob adheres to a strict principle: to minimize company costs and maximize accountability. He has managed three IRS audits and several state audits, all resolved with minimal challenges.
Farnham & Pfile has shown a strong balance sheet and an excellent credit rating under Bob’s tenure.
Bob is a 1975 graduate of Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, W.Va., and holds a bachelor of science degree in management accounting.
Rich has amassed more than 17 years of experience in the crane, heavy lift, and equipment industry, dealing with complex risk and litigation management matters. After beginning his career as a risk manager at Anthony Crane Rental, Rick was hired as president of administration for Maxim Crane Works, the world’s largest crane rental company, where he was responsible for risk management, safety policy, human resources development, and national rental contracts.
Rich later founded Construction Risk Solutions, a risk management and litigation consulting firm serving construction and insurance companies across the country. Rich’s areas of expertise are accident investigation and analysis, litigation management, crane and equipment safety and training, equipment damage analysis, contract management, and risk management. He also has worked extensively with the insurance industry.
