Rania Pontikos

With 20 years of engineering and power plant experience, Rania brings a high degree of management and technical expertise to PFBC-EET. Rania spent her early career working for Westinghouse Electric Corporation at the Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory. She built and managed a $100 million test facility that performed accelerated life testing of nuclear reactor components in a high temperature, high pressure environment. These component designs were implemented in nuclear submarines and aircraft carriers. In 1998, Rania founded, and is currently the president and CEO of, Millennium Power, Inc., an engineering consulting firm dedicated to helping large power companies and developers site-permit, construct, and operate power plants in a deregulated market. Rania’s strong relationships with power plant clients, regulatory agencies, regional transmission grid operators, and equipment manufacturers provide a valuable resource for PFBC-EET projects in the United States and abroad.
